As a Wahta Mohawk community leader based in Ottawa, Ontario, I am the proud founder of Bougie Birch and the innovative Indigenous Markets. My professional path is dedicated to enacting positive change within organizations by fostering inclusivity, diversity, and equity. My efforts are focused on integrating Indigenous perspectives and values into business strategies through immersive workshops and strategic initiatives. I have developed comprehensive reconciliation frameworks in collaboration with Indigenous communities, leading to significant impacts on organizational culture and practices. With a 13-year background in Hospitality Management and my educational foundation with a BA Honours in Political Science specializing in International Relations, I am committed to empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs by offering them a barrier-free operational experience, thereby reinforcing economic growth and cultural preservation.
